Breeding & Race History

Majestic Hero retired from the track in November 2021. He is a Bill Mott homebred, extremely well-bred, with Dixieland Band and AP Indy.

He has been my personal horse since he came off the track, in a professional training program. His barn name is Archie, short for Archie Mountbatten. He is being offered for sale to a perfect home as a trail horse only, he hates riding in circles in indoor arenas. On a trail, he is perfect. No spook, brave, best brain, self loads, self unloads, perfect. But you need to know that he is extremely unhappy being a horse who does a lot of work in an indoor. This is not an option for him.

He walks/trots/canters easily on a loose rein. He likes a tactful rider, and doesn't love a lot of leg. He is extremely easy to be around and love. He loves treats, his friends, eating and being outside. He is middle/top of the herd. He currently is in at night and out with a mixed herd during the day on grass.

He has great ground manners, he stands well in cross-ties, he stands for the farrier and vet. Leads easily. Easy keeper, currently eating Triple Crown Senior Gold, Hallway Feeds Pure & Simple Ration Balancer, and free choice hay and forage.

When I purchased him, I had his front fetlocks and spine x-rayed. I also have x-rays of his feet available.

He has no vices, no crib, no weave, nothing - other than sometimes he'll chew on wood. I spray any wood with rap-last and that solves it. His cutest habit is he makes a hole in his hay, almost like a nest, and eats from the bottom. He also has the cutest droopy bottom lip. He does not spook at anything, ever. I love everything about him, except where I board, there are no trails, and I don't have a trailer, and he absolutely hates the indoor. He is fine with crowds, commotion, etc.

He has a superficial scar on his right front ankle. He also has a bump on one leg that is just a bump.

Contact: please text with first and last names to Jodi 314-288-8787 and specify that you are asking about Archie.
