Campaign Spy is a solid and lovely guy, very sweet and playful. He has a silly little boy personality, he is very sweet, never puts a foot wrong and aims to please. He has raced 53 times all over the USA and is ready to retire and switch gears for his 2nd career.
He is a nice mover, very athletic and affectionate. He will love turnout and being a horse - and it will be good for his soul. He will make an amazing partner and athlete - he is so friendly and cute and snuggly, he is such a nice boy. And he tries so hard to do everything right. He is good in his stall, and loves attention, food, and things to look at. He is beautiful, chill and has a great brain.
As it happens, I was there for his last race, I spent the evening with him as he prepared to race, we walked up to the track, he was a gentleman, then into the paddock, where he walked around, and then saddled up, and then as the race was called, the jockey got a leg up. Spy was such a sweetheart and took it all in. He walked calmly to the starting gate and loaded without issue. He was such a good boy for the whole thing. Sadly the #7 horse wouldn't load and Spy was in his #1 loading slot for about 5-6 minutes, and the guy that holds their heads, the "header", well he left to help the 7 horse, and never came back. So Spy had a nap with his head down and missed breaking out of the starting gates.
Spy is lovely, Retiring with no known injuries and no known vices.
