Magic is a darling redhead who did her time at the track and was then taken by someone to use as a broodmare. They tried breeding her once last year, but she didn't take, so her owner took her back and would like to find her a new home. She is a total sweetheart, behaved so well for us, not needing a chain. She has a cute trot and would love to be someone's one and only.
Owner states that she has no known vices and no known injuries. She has a bump on the front of her right fetlock that has been there "forever" and is cosmetic only. She does need her feet trimmed, and will be done soon.

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, IL 62234, just minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. We’re conveniently located within about 4.5 hours (or closer) of many major cities, including Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
Each horse is for sale directly by its owner, who determines the purchase price. Gateway Off-Track Thoroughbreds is here to connect you with the owner, guide you through the process, and provide a written bill of sale for your records.
A few important reminders:
All horses listed with Gateway OTTBs are active racehorses with no training beyond the track (unless otherwise noted). They are not suitable for beginners or children without further training.
For safety reasons, riding on racetrack property is not permitted without a valid state racing license.
Free-motion or lunge videos are not available since these horses are stabled at the racetrack.
Horses may continue to race until sold. You can view upcoming entries and full records through the Equibase link provided.
We always recommend scheduling a veterinary pre-purchase exam.
