Ghaaleb's Dream is a gorgeous 16.1 hand mare, with exceptionally clean legs and a very easy going, lovely attitude. She is nicely bred, and a very pretty mover, with a long clean stride. We especially love her shoulder and neck placement, she moves nicely over her back and stretches down. She has a kind and inquisitive eye and is a happy girl.
She is lightly raced, a victim of circumstance and her owner having too many horses. We asked why she didn't race in 2022, it was because she had a hoof abscess and she was at the farm recovering and they did not have a stall for her at the track to bring her back. Earlier in her career, before Covid, she pulled a shoulder muscle and again went back to the farm to chill. She loves the track in Chicago and raced well there (it is a poly track), but doesn't love the foot-deep sand at Fairmount.
She is retiring with no known injuries or known vices.

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack (Fanduel Sportsbook and Horse Racing) in Collinsville, IL 62234. The nearest big city is Saint Louis.
All horses are for sale by owner, and the owner sets the sale price. Gateway Off Track Thoroughbreds is here to help you connect with the owner and facilitate the process as well as provide a written bill of sale between you and the horse's owner.
All horses listed with GATEWAY OTTBs are racehorses with no other training and are not suitable for beginners or children without additional training unless otherwise stated. No person is allowed to ride any horse on racetrack property without a valid state racing license. No free motion or lunge videos are available as horses are at a racetrack.
