This is an athletic and stunning boy- even if he is in his winter woolies right now. He's been turned out at the farm over the winter, but the owner is getting out of racing, so he's ready to move him on to a new career rather than put him into training. He has a super elastic trot and nice big stepping walk - we imagine the canter will be fantastic too! We can picture him easily stepping right into a new career in eventing, dressage, or really whatever you choose. His brain seems to be excellent too- he was quite happy to perform for us despite the cold and windy day. And, he has the teeny tiniest little star on his forehead, I wish we'd been able to photograph it, but the wind was crazy.
He has no known injuries or vices.

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, IL 62234, just minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. We’re conveniently located within about 4.5 hours (or closer) of many major cities, including Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
Each horse is for sale directly by its owner, who determines the purchase price. Gateway Off-Track Thoroughbreds is here to connect you with the owner, guide you through the process, and provide a written bill of sale for your records.
A few important reminders:
All horses listed with Gateway OTTBs are active racehorses with no training beyond the track (unless otherwise noted). They are not suitable for beginners or children without further training.
For safety reasons, riding on racetrack property is not permitted without a valid state racing license.
Free-motion or lunge videos are not available since these horses are stabled at the racetrack.
Horses may continue to race until sold. You can view upcoming entries and full records through the Equibase link provided.
We always recommend scheduling a veterinary pre-purchase exam.
