This boy has a super elastic trot and nice big stepping walk - we imagine the canter will be fantastic too! We can picture him easily stepping right into a new career in eventing, dressage, or really whatever you choose. And he has the teeny tiniest little star on his forehead;
We listed him in February, and he was sold. The buyer was unable to keep him, and so his track owner purchased him back. He raced a few more times, and with Hawthorne Racetrack closing, he is ready to retire him from racing for good.
He has no known injuries or vices.
He is currently at Fairmount Park Racetrack near St Louis, MO

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, IL 62234, just minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. We’re conveniently located within about 4.5 hours (or closer) of many major cities, including Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
Each horse is for sale directly by its owner, who determines the purchase price. Gateway Off-Track Thoroughbreds is here to connect you with the owner, guide you through the process, and provide a written bill of sale for your records.
A few important reminders:
All horses listed with Gateway OTTBs are active racehorses with no training beyond the track (unless otherwise noted). They are not suitable for beginners or children without further training.
For safety reasons, riding on racetrack property is not permitted without a valid state racing license.
Free-motion or lunge videos are not available since these horses are stabled at the racetrack.
Horses may continue to race until sold. You can view upcoming entries and full records through the Equibase link provided.
We always recommend scheduling a veterinary pre-purchase exam.
