Wow. If we ever saw an event horse, this is him. This guy is SOLID and has the nicest feet. He has the perfect stamp of a TB sporthorse on him. He is very sweet and kind, very easy to be around, and is just lovely from head to toe. His trot is so nice, big and swinging and powerful, and his walk is to die for- he just steps out and looks so amazing. He is quality through and through. He is bred like royalty; he is by Macho Mucho Man (Macho Uno) and has amazing blood on his dam's side too, with Point Given and others. His owner offered to hop on him, so we took him up on it. And as you can hear in the video, I suggested that he ride side saddle, which he did.

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, IL 62234, just minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. We’re conveniently located within about 4.5 hours (or closer) of many major cities, including Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
Each horse is for sale directly by its owner, who determines the purchase price. Gateway Off-Track Thoroughbreds is here to connect you with the owner, guide you through the process, and provide a written bill of sale for your records.
A few important reminders:
All horses listed with Gateway OTTBs are active racehorses with no training beyond the track (unless otherwise noted). They are not suitable for beginners or children without further training.
For safety reasons, riding on racetrack property is not permitted without a valid state racing license.
Free-motion or lunge videos are not available since these horses are stabled at the racetrack.
Horses may continue to race until sold. You can view upcoming entries and full records through the Equibase link provided.
We always recommend scheduling a veterinary pre-purchase exam.
