Known as Ruby around the barn, this little girl is just perfection! She is a solidly built girl, but when she moves, she transforms into this fancy and elegant creature! Watch her walk, the way she extends her legs, and then the trot with its lift and extension- wow! We aren't surprised, as she's by a local stallion, Brave'N Away, who is known for having offspring with wonderful temperaments and incredible movement. (Some of you will remember Mighty Lee and Minnie Lee). She has clean legs and good feet and a sweet little face that you just want to smother with kisses. She has been ridden in both English and western saddles, and her trainer says, "Anyone can ride her." He said there isn't a thing wrong with her, except for her not wanting to be a good race horse. We personally think she wants to be someone's fancy best friend.
She has no known injuries, vices, or limitations!

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, IL 62234, just minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. We’re conveniently located within about 4.5 hours (or closer) of many major cities, including Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
Each horse is for sale directly by its owner, who determines the purchase price. Gateway Off-Track Thoroughbreds is here to connect you with the owner, guide you through the process, and provide a written bill of sale for your records.
A few important reminders:
All horses listed with Gateway OTTBs are active racehorses with no training beyond the track (unless otherwise noted). They are not suitable for beginners or children without further training.
For safety reasons, riding on racetrack property is not permitted without a valid state racing license.
Free-motion or lunge videos are not available since these horses are stabled at the racetrack.
Horses may continue to race until sold. You can view upcoming entries and full records through the Equibase link provided.
We always recommend scheduling a veterinary pre-purchase exam.
