Malibu is such a sweet boy, with the kindest eye and sweet personality. He got tangled up in the starting gate about 10 days ago and still has a couple of scrapes, but is healing very quickly and is very sound. Talk about a nice mover, holy cow. He has a lovely, , loose and big lofty, springy trot and just covers the ground so easily. We can imagine how nice he would look trotting down the center line. He is just the most darling boy. We can imagine him going on to do anything his new rider wishes to do.
He sold at the Keeneland Yearling Sale in September 2023 for $30,000. You can find this info by clicking on the Auction History Link in his Equibase Profile.
He is very very very lightly raced with only 5 lifetime starts. His connections know he isn't a racehorse and are happy that he is a safe and loved boy and want to find him his perfect home and next career.
He is being offered with no known injuries other than the gate scrapes disclosed. He does crib very infrequently and it’s easily controlled with a cribbing collar.
