Secret is just a stunning horse every way you look at him. He is a lovely, solid, compact type with plenty of power, yet he manages to still be elegant at the same time. He has good feet and legs, and just look at that stripe down his nose- too cute!! His lovely liver chestnut color is oh so gorgeous and just shimmers in the sun. He has nice, easy gaits and will just excel in his second career, wherever that takes him. His trainer said that he has no vices and no known injuries.

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, IL 62234, just minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. We’re conveniently located within about 4.5 hours (or closer) of many major cities, including Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
Each horse is for sale directly by its owner, who determines the purchase price. Gateway Off-Track Thoroughbreds is here to connect you with the owner, guide you through the process, and provide a written bill of sale for your records.
A few important reminders:
All horses listed with Gateway OTTBs are active racehorses with no training beyond the track (unless otherwise noted). They are not suitable for beginners or children without further training.
For legal and safety reasons, riding on racetrack property is not permitted without a valid Illinois Racing Board jockey or exercise rider license.
Free-motion or lunge videos are not available since these horses are stabled at the racetrack.
Horses may continue to race until sold. You can view upcoming entries and full records through the Equibase link provided.
We always recommend scheduling a veterinary pre-purchase exam.
