This guy has more than earned it a nice soft landing and a perfect home. He is really bored at the track, living in a stall 24/7 with nothing going on, no training, no racing!
With 49 starts and close to $200,000 in winnings, it's time for him to leave the racetrack for good and start his new career and life. He retired last year but the turnout did not work, as another horse chased him around the field. So he came back to the track and his owner is now ready to try to find him the perfect home.
He is absolutely adorable and a nice-sized guy at 16 hands. He has clean legs and his owner/trainer says she has never had any soundness issues - in fact he raced as recently as 18 months ago at age 11. He has the cutest trot, flicking his toes out nicely and we imagine he will move even better once his feet are trimmed or with some shoes.
He is an easy keeper, he is as sweet as the day is long, and he will make an amazing partner. Purgy has no known injuries or vices. References are required and will be checked!
