Wow. This is one VERY special boy! He is not only stunning to look at, but he is a doll to handle. And very nicely bred with nice sporthorse lines.
When we arrived he was taking a little nap in his stall but got up, had a big stretch, and walked over to say hello. We took him on a long wander to get to an area with some space so we could show off his handsomeness. The walk took us straight past the track, where lots of horses were out doing their morning training. He was curious and looked out to see what was happening, but he wasn't spooky or silly at all. He stood beautifully and behaved impeccably when we did our photoshoot, walk and jog.
He has a beautiful head, with just enough white, and is such a deep dark bay. His walk is huge and he has a lovely bouncy, floaty trot. The trainer said he really covers the ground when he gallops. We can picture him excelling in any discipline. This horse has been extremely well cared for, and only the best homes will be considered for him. The trainer is retiring from racing and is looking to find excellent homes for his gorgeous horse.
Bob has no vices, he is good on the ground and in his stall.

Unless stated otherwise, all horses listed with GATEWAY OTTBs are racehorses at a racetrack, with no other training and are not suitable for beginners or children without additional training unless otherwise stated. No person is allowed to ride any horse on racetrack property without a valid state racing license. No free movement videos are available as there are no free lunge areas. Horses may continue to race until sold. GATEWAY OTTBs always recommends a veterinary pre-purchase exam.
