Valiantly Discreet is a lovely big boy with the kindest eye. He is very smooth and chill, and a solid citizen. Nothing really fazes him, he takes it all in stride. He has no vices in the stall or on the ground. He is not into racing anymore, so like all of them, is available for adoption for his next career. This guy can go in any direction. He does have some minor rounding to one ankle, which is very common in racehorses. His barn name is Val, he loves treats and munching on grass. He is a lovable guy, and very athletic and kind. He will be a perfect partner for any discipline!! Love him!

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, IL 62234, just minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. We’re conveniently located within about 4.5 hours (or closer) of many major cities, including Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
Each horse is for sale directly by its owner, who determines the purchase price. Gateway Off-Track Thoroughbreds is here to connect you with the owner, guide you through the process, and provide a written bill of sale for your records.
A few important reminders:
All horses listed with Gateway OTTBs are active racehorses with no training beyond the track (unless otherwise noted). They are not suitable for beginners or children without further training.
For safety reasons, riding on racetrack property is not permitted without a valid state racing license.
Free-motion or lunge videos are not available since these horses are stabled at the racetrack.
Horses may continue to race until sold. You can view upcoming entries and full records through the Equibase link provided.
We always recommend scheduling a veterinary pre-purchase exam.
