Wow! Wait til you see the trot on this one! YORKTON WHEAT is a lovely flashy boy with lots of chrome, short backed, compact and very sure of himself. He is lightly raced with 5 career starts, he is just not a racehorse. With his build and athletic prowess, we are sure he will go onto to do great things in his next career. Very sensible, and trainer reports that he has no vices or injuries. He currently stands just under 16 hands, but given that he's only 3 years old, he will continue to grow and fill out.

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, IL 62234, just minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. We’re conveniently located within about 4.5 hours (or closer) of many major cities, including Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
Each horse is for sale directly by its owner, who determines the purchase price. Gateway Off-Track Thoroughbreds is here to connect you with the owner, guide you through the process, and provide a written bill of sale for your records.
A few important reminders:
All horses listed with Gateway OTTBs are active racehorses with no training beyond the track (unless otherwise noted). They are not suitable for beginners or children without further training.
For safety reasons, riding on racetrack property is not permitted without a valid state racing license.
Free-motion or lunge videos are not available since these horses are stabled at the racetrack.
Horses may continue to race until sold. You can view upcoming entries and full records through the Equibase link provided.
We always recommend scheduling a veterinary pre-purchase exam.
