Oxceptional is a cute mare, she stands 15.2 and a half hands, and is a chunky little thing, so adorbs, she looks like the cutest New Forest Pony. She is unraced as she has not shown any interest or talent in training. She was bred and raised by the same people who still own her, and they are looking for a great new home for her. She can go in any direction; she is a blank slate.
She is not currently in training so is in her stall 23/7, and because of that, has some pep in her step. She would love some turnout and time to be a horse again, and get back to work in her new career. She is athletic and kind, and really sweet. She is a great mover with a nice trot. We see her doing anything!! Her feet are due to be trimmed and she is on the list with the farrier, who so far has not been showing up.
She is retiring with no known vices or injuries.

All horses are located at Fairmount Park Racetrack (Fanduel Sportsbook and Horse Racing) in Collinsville, IL 62234. The nearest big city is Saint Louis.
We are 4.5 hours (or closer) from so many cities - including Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Indy, Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Columbus!
All horses are for sale by owner, and the owner sets the sale price. Gateway Off Track Thoroughbreds is here to help you connect with the owner and facilitate the process as well as provide a written bill of sale between you and the horse's owner.
All horses listed with GATEWAY OTTBs are racehorses with no other training and are not suitable for beginners or children without additional training unless otherwise stated. No person is allowed to ride any horse on racetrack property without a valid state racing license. No free motion or lunge videos are available as horses are at a racetrack. Horses may continue to race until sold. You can see if they are entered into any races by clicking on their Equibase link above (breeding/race history link).
