Meet Karma AKA (her show name is Big Reputation), and her jockey club name is -Se Fue, She is an energetic 10yr old OTTB Mare that loves to work. She was foaled in 2014 in California. She raced 30 times and won 2 first 2 second and 6 thirds in her career on the track.
She has lots of energy and a ton of personality. We first met Karma in June of 2023 when she arrived at a hunter jumper barn in St Louis. After riding her several times as a new barn horse, we purchased her in the fall of 2023. The mare has consistently been in training with professional hunter/jumper trainers in the St Louis area.
She has competed in several schooling shows throughout the summer months at Happenstance, located in Wright City, Missouri and a few at the National Equestrian Center located in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. In 2024, she took 3rd place in the MOHJO Jumper division and 4th in the Jumper Classic division. She loves the jumper ring and will jump anything you point her at, and her rider and trainer have spent much time on her flatwork. She recently competed at Ridgefield and won every class; Intermediate Jumper 1st, Jumper classic 1st, and even a super fun Gamblers Choice class.
In the barn Karma is very gentle and a lover. She makes friends with all her barnmates and is very easy to work with. She is not "mare-ish" at all.
Karma will load and unload with no issues and loves to go see new places. Karma loves her job
in the jumper ring and has "way more go than whoa," but with continued training, she could easily go between the Hunter and Jumper ring. We can also see her doing well as an Event horse. Karma is very easy to work with and loves to learn. She is great around small children in the barn and does not spook easily. She has auto lead changes in both directions.
Karma wears 4 shoes, is great for the farrier, and for the vet. She does well in turnout. She has had injections and does need some yearly maintenance. Vet records are available.
